Latest safety technology is as important for the protection of cultural heritage as their installation with respect for basic building structures. This is accomplished with pliable conduits from Dietzel Univolt.

Power-Days 2015

The Power-Days drive the Austrian electrical sector

The Power-Days fair has been a major success story for more than a decade now, as continuous growth in regards to visitor numbers as well as exhibitors proves. This year the event put forward the impressive numbers of 30% more exhibition space and 15% more trade visitors in comparison to 2013.

Why is this fair such a large success? Oliver Ferner-Prantner, Sales Manager of Dietzel Univolt, knows the answer. "This fair is the perfect opportunity to get everyone together; industry, wholesalers as well as the users of our products. Accelerated technical development and the ensuing changes in legal regulations and standards require broad, competent information of all involved parties, and the Power-Days serve as a forum for this exchange. The quantitative and qualitative growth over the last years is tangible proof that especially many manufacturers other than Dietzel have realised the significance of this event."

Dietzel Univolt was one of the first manufacturers to acknowledge the Power-Days fair as the big chance that it is. For the last ten years now our sales team has spared no efforts to make this event as informative and interesting as possible. Dietzel's fair stands are legendary and range from a Formula 1 course (to support the Turbo theme) to a firefighter station (to visualise the safety aspects of halogen-free installation material), and this year's was no exception. A bright yellow eyecatcher in the large halls of the Salzburg Exhibition Centre, the stand's design represented a visual reminiscence to the company's history of more than 75 years.

Nevertheless it was mostly the vast range of highly innovative, new and improved products that attracted a great number of visitors to stop by. The new range of halogen-free and wind-proof outlet boxes – essential for the electrical installations in low-energy and passive buildings – captured a lot of interest, just as new cable pulling devices and new products that complement the Turbo conduits in making the electrician's work that bit easier and faster.

Oliver Ferner-Prantner's summary is all through positive. "We spent a lot of effort on this fair, but we also know it pays off. Of course our team's in touch with our customers on Austrian building sites throughout the year. Still, there's no opportunity like the Power-Days to get in contact with as many experts in such a short time as this event. We're especially happy that more and more of those users who are actually working with our products on a daily basis visit our stand. Their input is invaluable, and we're already looking forward to 2017!"
