The Managing Directors of Dietzel Univolt, consisting of the owner Dr. Michael Pöcksteiner and Mr. Peter Steigenberger have been running the company since the beginning of 2004. Long-term business partnerships and trustful relations with their employees are of highest importance to both of them.
Dr. Michael Pöcksteiner graduated from the University of Economics in Vienna where he studied Social Sciences and Economics before becoming Assistant to the Board of Management. In 1997 he took over the responsibilities from his predecessor and father, Dr. Ernst Pöcksteiner and successfully steered the company into the new millennium. He is Executive Director and responsible for product development, finance and accounting, IT, production, subsidiaries, as well as for the supervision of market developments in the Middle East, Far East and Australia. Dr. Michael Pöcksteiner continues to carry on the pioneering spirit and courage which has been the tradition of the family business for over 70 years. He has been married since 1986 and is father of two children. His interests are sports (skiing, tennis and hiking) as well as classical music.
Peter Steigenberger has been Managing Director at Dietzel Univolt since 2004 and bears the responsibility for world wide sales, marketing, advertising, purchasing, logistics and human resources development. As a member of the Board of Management since 1998 Mr. Steigenberger assumed responsibilities from scratch. His priority lies in binding employees, business partners and suppliers to Dietzel Univolt and to present himself as a trustworthy and reliable partner. His credo: The employees should feel pleasure in their occupation and the business partners should have the feeling of being “well looked after” and recognize the advantage of our co-operation. He is father of two grown children, sports enthusiastic, early riser and chocolate aficionado. |
